Behcet's disease

a triad of urethritis, arthritis and conjunctivitis

painless circinate lesions that may ulcerate forming aphthous-like ulcers

major rau is most common in behcet's and usually found on oropharynx and soft palate

geographic tongue and purpuric rash in palate

the dentist plays a key role in diagnosis of behcet's disease as it can cause blindness

  • plaque-like lichen planus (geographic tongue)
